  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the asparagus and cook for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Add the shrimp, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

This dish is best served immediately. It can be served on its own or over rice or pasta. Adding herbs or more lemon juice enhances the flavor.
