  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 whole Juice of 1 lemon
  • to taste Parsley for garnish (optional)

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Add the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until tender.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the top and stir to combine.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp, as it can become tough. Steam the broccoli slightly for a different texture. Adjust garlic or red pepper flakes based on taste preferences.
