Ingredients
  

For the mocktail base

  • 2 cups limeade
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup Can be substituted with honey or agave syrup.
  • 1/2 – 1 cup club soda Adjust according to desired fizziness.

For serving

  • to taste Sugar and coarse salt For rimming the glasses.
  • as needed Limes For garnish.
  • to taste Ice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small pitcher, mix together the limeade, orange juice, and simple syrup. Stir well until combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  • For the rim, combine equal parts sugar and coarse salt on a plate.
  • Slice a lime in half. Take one half and run the lime slice around the rim of each glass. Dip the rim into the sugar/salt mixture to coat it evenly.
  • Fill each glass halfway with ice—about 1 cup.

Serving

  • Pour the limeade mixture into the glass until it’s almost full, leaving room at the top.
  • Top off each drink with club soda, adjusting to your desired fizziness.
  • Add a lime wedge to the rim of each glass for garnish.

Notes

Serve chilled. Enhance with fresh lime wedges or flavored ice cubes. Avoid adding too much club soda at once to prevent overflow.
