  • 4 pieces boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp dried parsley or 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced into half-moons

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F (fan). Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat.
  • Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, on the prepared baking tray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Pour this mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  • Arrange the lemon slices on and around the salmon.

Cooking

  • Bake for 8 minutes.
  • Carefully open the oven and baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray.
  • Bake for an additional 4-7 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and cooked through.

Notes

Serve your baked salmon with roasted potatoes or a fresh salad. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon just before serving for extra flavor. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2-3 days.
