  • 1 package Mint Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.

For the Coating

  • 12 oz white or dark chocolate, melted For a smoother coating, ensure the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them into fine crumbs with a rolling pin.
  • In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.

Coating

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. If using white chocolate, add green food coloring.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Add sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle with extra chocolate before the coating sets.
  • Place the truffles back in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.

Serving

  • Serve the truffles chilled on a decorative plate. They are a great addition to dessert tables, parties, or movie nights.
  • Consider packaging them in cute boxes for gifts or party favors.

Notes

Keep the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
