  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted

Filling

  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee Cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip

Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form, about 1-2 minutes. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping.
  • In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Chill for about 10 minutes to set.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth with an electric mixer. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, cooled coffee, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream until uniform, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

Assembly

  • Spoon half of the mocha filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly. Sprinkle half of the reserved Oreo crumbs over the filling.
  • Add the remaining filling and top with the rest of the cookie crumbs.

Chilling

  • Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Serving

  • Cut into squares and serve chilled. Optional: add a dollop of whipped cream and reserve cookie crumbs for garnish.

Notes

For best results, serve chilled and complement with coffee or milk. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
