Base Ingredients

  • 16 cookies Nutter Butter cookies
  • 1 box Banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups Milk Use cold milk for best results.
  • 2-3 bananas Fresh bananas Slice thinly to layer.
  • 2 cups Whipped cream Can use flavored whipped cream for variety.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare the banana pudding by mixing the pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk and whisk until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
  • Slice the fresh bananas into thin rounds, about a quarter-inch thick.

Layering

  • In a trifle dish, layer Nutter Butter cookies at the bottom.
  • Add a generous layer of banana pudding.
  • Top with a layer of banana slices.
  • Add a layer of whipped cream.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top. Sprinkle additional Nutter Butter crumbles if desired.

Chilling

  • Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Use clear bowls for plating to showcase layers. Pair with coffee or iced tea. Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container and consumed within 3-4 days.
