  • 3 large large bananas or 4 small bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F, grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan, and set it aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork or a potato masher.
  • Add the melted butter and whisk until combined.
  • Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, and whisk again.
  • Add the dry ingredients and fold it into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the pre-greased loaf pan.

Baking

  • Bake at 350°F for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
