  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the chicken from skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add egg noodles and water according to package instructions. Toss to combine and cook until the noodles are al dente.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.

Serving

  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the chicken for better browning. Adding vegetables like spinach or peas can enhance nutrition and flavor. Adjust seasonings to your liking, and consider using shrimp or tofu as protein alternatives.
