  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Skinless and boneless, seasoned
  • 2 cups egg noodles You can substitute with other pasta if desired
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt To season the chicken and noodles
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper To season the chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika For seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning For seasoning
  • 2 cups chicken broth Chicken broth can be homemade for better flavor
  • to taste pieces Fresh parsley For garnish

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside.

Cooking Noodles

  • In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the egg noodles and chicken broth to the pan, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until noodles are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  • Return the chicken to the pan, stir to combine everything, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

If making ahead of time, store chicken and noodles separately to maintain texture. For creamier noodles, stir in some heavy cream or sour cream at the end. Don't overcrowd the pan to ensure proper browning.
