  • 2 cups Milk Can substitute with plant-based milk for a vegan option.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Can use nutritional yeast for a vegan option.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • optional Parsley For garnish.

Cooking

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in milk and bring to a simmer.
  • Add pasta, salt, and pepper, and cook until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave, adding a splash of milk if too thick. Feel free to customize with additional veggies or protein.
