One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Cooking

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add pasta and milk, making sure the pasta is covered. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened (about 10 minutes).
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Make sure to stir the pasta frequently while simmering to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot. You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or add cooked chicken or vegetables for extra flavor.
