Preparation

  • In a large bowl, dissolve the orange Jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 cup of cold water to the mixture and stir gently.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for about 5-10 minutes until it reaches room temperature.
  • Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped cream until well combined, ensuring not to deflate the fluffy texture too much.
  • Pour the creamy mixture into the prepared cookie pie crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set and firm to the touch.
  • When ready to serve, slice and serve chilled. Garnish with orange slices if desired.

Notes

For best results, chill your mixing bowl and whipped cream beforehand. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold in the cream to prevent deflation.
