  • 1 box Chocolate pudding (optional) Use instant pudding for quicker preparation
  • 1 cup Milk Use whole milk for creaminess if using pudding

Preparation

  • Prepare the chocolate cake by whisking up your favorite chocolate cake recipe or following the package instructions. Let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a plastic bag until they are fine crumbs, reserving some for decoration.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Cool Whip and crushed Oreo cookies. If using pudding, prepare it and fold it into the Cool Whip.

Assembly

  • Spread the Oreo Cool Whip mixture generously over the cooled cake.
  • Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs over the top.

Chilling

  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Use a serrated knife to slice the pie for cleaner edges. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top for added flavor.
