Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic.

Cooking

  • Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet and brush them with the garlic butter.
  • In another bowl, combine brown sugar and spices, then sprinkle this mixture over the salmon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it moist and flaky. You can customize the spice mix to your taste by adding cayenne for heat or brown sugar for sweetness. Allow the salmon to rest for a few minutes after baking to help maintain its juiciness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days.
