Spice mixture

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

For cooking

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the pork chops.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Rub this spice mixture all over the pork chops.

Cooking

  • Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
