  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs that complements the dish.
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper For seasoning.

For Coating

  • 1 large egg Beaten, acts as the glue for the coating.
  • in spray form cooking oil For baking or pan-frying, lightly oil the chicken.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for consistent cooking.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.

Coating

  • Dunk each piece of chicken into the beaten egg mixture.
  • Press the chicken into the Parmesan crust mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  • For pan-frying: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  • For baking: Place coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

Notes

Serve the chicken with a squeeze of lemon and your favorite side dishes such as roasted vegetables, pasta, or mashed potatoes. Remember, you can add fresh herbs or lemon zest for added flavor.
