  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Use freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, paprika, parsley, garlic powder, and pepper together in a shallow dish.
  • Put olive oil in a frying pan and heat on medium-high. Swirl the pan to coat it with oil.
  • Dip each pork chop in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to make it stick if needed.
  • Add the pork chops to the pan and sear each side for 2 minutes until they are golden brown.
  • Place the pork chops in a glass baking dish or leave them in the pan if it is oven-safe.
  • Put the pork chops in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.

Notes

Serve these pork chops with steamed vegetables, a fresh salad, mashed potatoes, or rice. You can also add a drizzle of lemon juice or a side of gravy. To store leftovers, let cool, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
