Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  • Add the vanilla extract, corn syrup, and softened butter to the dry ingredients.
  • Mix until well combined to achieve a dough-like consistency.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes.
  • Once chilled, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the formed balls on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Optional: Roll the balls in additional powdered sugar or cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate again to set before serving.

Notes

These Pecan Pie Balls taste even better when chilled. You can also store them in an airtight container for up to a week. Ideal for desserts, pair with hot cocoa or sweet wine.
