Ingredients

For the Pizza

  • 1 each Pizza Dough Homemade or high-quality store-bought.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese For melting and flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickles Thinly sliced.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Minced, for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil To mix with garlic.
  • 1 dollop Sour Cream or Ranch Dressing For the sauce base.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Optional, for extra depth.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill or Red Pepper Flakes For garnishing.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Prepare your dough: If making homemade dough, let it rise for at least an hour, roll it out to desired thickness and place it on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix garlic with olive oil and a dollop of sour cream or ranch dressing. Spread this evenly over the dough.
  • Layer the cheese: Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella, making sure to cover the entire surface.
  • Add the pickles: Thinly slice your pickles and arrange them evenly across the pizza without overcrowding.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake the pizza for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh dill or red pepper flakes. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Don't overdo the pickles; use them sparingly for the best flavor balance. Experiment with different cheeses like smoked gouda or cheddar for variety. For protein, consider adding grilled chicken or bacon on top before baking. For vegan options, use plant-based cheese and crust.
