  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten until well mixed.

  • as needed cup Oil for frying Vegetable or canola oil recommended.

Preparation

  • In one bowl, season the flour with salt and pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until well mixed.
  • Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

Breading the Chicken

  • Dredge each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour.
  • Dip in the beaten eggs.
  • Coat with breadcrumbs, ensuring each piece is fully covered.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot, checking readiness with a small piece of bread.
  • Carefully add breaded chicken pieces in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Fry for 4-5 minutes per batch until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove cooked chicken and let drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Serve hot with a variety of dipping sauces.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs or paprika if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze on a baking sheet and transfer to a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months.
