Marinade Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic, black pepper, and dried herbs together.
  • Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for more flavor.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  • Cook the chops for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through with nice grill marks.
  • Let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, marinate the pork chops overnight. You can also add red pepper flakes for a spicier kick. Always let the cooked pork chops rest before slicing for maximum juiciness.
