  • Start by collecting all the ingredients listed above. Having everything in one spot will make the process super smooth and enjoyable!
  • In a large pot over medium heat, add a splash of oil to warm up. Toss in your minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring gently. Let those flavors mingle until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  • Pour in the low-sodium chicken broth and bring it to a gentle boil.
  • Gently add your frozen dumplings to the pot, allowing them to float on the surface as they cook. Let them simmer until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the fresh spinach or bok choy to the pot, along with the soy sauce. Stir gently until the greens wilt down beautifully (just 2-3 minutes).
  • Before serving, drizzle a teaspoon of sesame oil right over the top.
  • Ladle the soup into warm bowls and finish off with a sprinkle of chopped green onions.
