Ingredients
  

For the Caramel

  • 1 cup Sugar (for caramel) Ensure it caramelizes to a golden brown.

For the Quesillo Mixture

  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk Use for the creamy base.
  • 1 can Evaporated milk Adds richness to the custard.
  • 5 large Eggs Essential for structure.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract For added flavor.

Preparation

  • Heat the sugar in a pan until it melts and turns golden brown. Pour it into a mold and let it set.
  • In a blender, mix the condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture over the caramel in the mold. Cover it with foil and bake in a water bath for about an hour.
  • Let it cool before flipping it onto a plate. The caramel glaze will flow beautifully over the top.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate the dessert for at least four hours before serving. Can be enjoyed plain or with fresh fruits.
