  • 1 cup ginger ale (preferably chilled) Can substitute with club soda or lemon-lime soda.
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine syrup Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice Or juice of 1 small orange.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice Or juice of 1 small lime.
  • 1 cup ice cubes Ensure glasses are filled for a chilled drink.
  • 1-2 pieces fresh fruit (like orange slices, cherries, or maraschino cherries for garnish) Add for visual appeal.
  • optional mint leaves For garnish.

Preparation

  • Start by filling your glasses with ice cubes to keep the drink chilled.
  • In a small bowl, combine the fresh orange juice and lime juice, and stir gently for about 30 seconds.

Assembly

  • Drizzle the grenadine syrup into each glass over the ice.
  • Slowly pour the ginger ale into each glass until just below the rim.
  • Carefully spoon in the orange-lime juice mixture on top of the ginger ale, maintaining some visual separation.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit slices and mint leaves.

Serving

  • Serve immediately for the best experience, and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days; revitalize with a splash of ginger ale before serving. Not ideal for freezing.
