  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Use room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional) Adds extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll them up, enclosing the filling completely.
  • If using, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top of each roll.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
