Fudge Base

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 oz unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup melted vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli Green Chips or substitute with white chocolate chips for a different taste

Topping

  • Shamrock sprinkles for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar and unsalted butter. Stir until melted.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the melted vanilla ice cream until well combined.
  • Fold in the Ghirardelli Green Chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased square baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then top with shamrock sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate until set, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Serve chilled. Cut into small squares and garnish with extra sprinkles if desired. Pairs well with milk or hot chocolate. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
