Ingredients
  

Beef and Broth

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Vegetables

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

Serving

  • 4 slices of bread, toasted
  • 1 cup brown gravy

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  • Add chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour beef broth over the top.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
  • In the last hour of cooking, boil the potatoes until tender and mash them.
  • Toast the slices of bread.

Serving

  • Once the beef is done, shred it in the slow cooker and serve it over the toasted bread and mashed potatoes.
  • Pour the brown gravy over the top and enjoy.

Notes

For added flavor, you can marinate the beef in Worcestershire sauce for a few hours before cooking. Feel free to customize the seasonings based on your taste.
