  • 4 slices Bacon Can substitute with turkey bacon.
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese Try American or Swiss cheese for variation.
  • 1 medium Onion Caramelized for topping.

  • 4 buns Burger buns

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over high heat.
  • Form ground beef into thin patties and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place patties on the skillet and smash down using a spatula.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  • Flip the patties and add cheese on top to melt.
  • In a separate pan, caramelize onions and cook bacon.
  • Assemble the burger by placing patties on buns, topping with bacon, cheese, and caramelized onions.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot with fries or a fresh salad, and offer condiments like ketchup, mustard, or pickles. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat on skillet or microwave.
