  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Burger buns Toasted for best flavor.

  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) Customize to your liking.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over high heat.
  • Form the ground beef into loose balls without compacting them too tightly.
  • Place the beef balls on the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form patties.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until the edges are crispy and the middle is juicy, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip the patties and add cheese, if using.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Assemble the burgers on buns with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Serve with fries or salad for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
