Ingredients
  

Pork Chops

  • 4 pieces pork chops Bone-in pork chops enhance flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream Add more if desired.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 medium onion, sliced Cook until caramelized.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the pork chops and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta. To store leftovers, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with extra cream or broth if needed. For added flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine when cooking the onions or mushrooms for an earthy flavor.
