Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Bites

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper add more for extra heat
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying about a few tablespoons

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional) for added spice

For Garnishing

  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until uniformly combined.
  • Dredge the salmon pieces thoroughly in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

Cooking

  • Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  • Carefully add the salmon bites to the pan in batches and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • Remove the salmon bites and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Making the Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha (if using). Mix until well blended and creamy.
  • Once the salmon bites are cooked, drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over them or serve it on the side for dipping.

Garnishing

  • Garnish your dish with chopped green onions for a fresh touch and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To freeze, lay out on a baking sheet and freeze before placing in a freezer-safe container.
