Instructions
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until frothy. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until a soft dough forms.
Rolling and Baking
On a floured surface, roll out dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle cinnamon and strawberries evenly over dough.
Roll it up tightly from one edge to the other and slice into rolls about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
Place rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving space between them. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Making the Frosting
While rolls bake, make the cream cheese frosting by beating together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
Serving
Once rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly. Spread cream cheese frosting on top while they are still warm.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Don't overwork the dough for fluffy rolls. Room temperature ingredients work best.
