Ingredients
  

For the fruit mixture

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced Choose ripe and sweet strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust based on the sweetness of the strawberries.

For the whipped cream

  • 1 cup whipped cream Store-bought whipped cream can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar

For the base

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar. Toss them gently and let them sit for about 15 minutes until they release their juices.
  • In another bowl, mix the whipped cream, remaining sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until combined and crumbly.

Assembly

  • In a serving dish, start layering. First, put half of the graham cracker mixture at the bottom.
  • Next, add half of the strawberries on top of the crumbs, followed by half of the whipped cream mixture.
  • Repeat these layers with the remaining ingredients.

Chilling

  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

Serve Strawberry Delight chilled. Scoop into bowls and enjoy as a refreshing dessert. You can garnish with a few whole strawberries for extra color and flavor. To store, cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or a lid and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
