Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup almond milk Can swap with coconut milk for a richer flavor.
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 handful baby spinach Optional, adds nutrients.
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple Enhances sweetness.
  • 1 serving protein powder Plain or vanilla flavor, optional.
  • 1 fresh strawberry For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add strawberries into a high-speed blender and blend on high until pureed. Pour into a glass and set aside.
  • Rinse your blender with water and add almond milk, matcha powder, baby spinach (if using), frozen banana, frozen pineapple, and protein powder (if using).
  • Blend on high until smooth.

Assembly

  • Add some of the pureed strawberries into a tall glass followed by some of the matcha smoothie. Layer the two until all is used, either in one large glass or divided into two glasses.
  • Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy with a straw to mix the two layers.

Notes

Serve chilled in a beautiful glass to showcase the layers. This smoothie can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours; shake well before drinking.
