  • 16 ounces Fresh Spinach + Mixed Greens Use a mix of baby spinach and other greens.
  • 16 ounces Fresh Strawberries - stems removed (sliced) Choose ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1/2 Cup Crumbled Cheese (goat cheese, gorgonzola, blue cheese, or feta) Choose cheese based on personal preference.
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans Can substitute with walnuts, almonds, or sunflower seeds.

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil Use extra virgin olive oil for best taste.
  • 1/3 Cup Balsamic Vinegar Apple cider vinegar can be used as a substitute.
  • 2 teaspoons Maple Syrup Adjust for sweetness if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard Adds a slight tang to the dressing.
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  • In a large bowl, combine fresh spinach, mixed greens, sliced strawberries, crumbled cheese, and chopped pecans.

Serving

  • Toss the salad with the dressing and serve immediately.
  • Alternatively, plate salads individually and serve the dressing on the side.

Notes

Serve as a side dish or light meal. Pairs well with grilled chicken, steak, or fish. For an elegant touch, add edible flowers for garnish. Store leftovers in an airtight container and keep dressing separate until serving.
