Ingredients

For the Pizza Base

  • 1 unit Pizza Crust Store-bought or homemade.

For the Toppings

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Feel free to swap in turkey or plant-based protein for a lighter option.
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning You can make your own too for an extra loving touch!
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a mix will work beautifully.
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes Fresh or canned tomatoes work.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Lettuce Adds a refreshing crunch.
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Black Olives A nice salty finish that brings balance.
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream For dipping right on the slices.
  • 1/4 cup Salsa A zesty accompaniment.

Optional Toppings

  • Jalapeños, avocado, cilantro Add according to your taste.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat Your Oven according to the pizza crust instructions.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s beautifully browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the taco seasoning and a splash of water to the beef. Stir well to coat every bit of meat with the spices.
  • Spread the pizza crust on a baking sheet and bake it according to package instructions.

Assembly

  • Distribute the seasoned beef evenly over the baked crust.
  • Top with cheese, diced tomatoes, and black olives.
  • Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, usually about 5-10 minutes.

Serving

  • Top with chopped lettuce, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of salsa.
  • Slice into squares and serve warm.

Notes

Use a pizza stone for an extra crispy crust! Allow the cheese to get really melty before slicing for better texture.
