Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

For the Glaze

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat the salmon fillets dry.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the fillets.
  • Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze.
  • Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Remove from the oven, let it rest for 2 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

Serve with steamed vegetables, fresh salad, rice, or roasted potatoes. For storage, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
