Ingredients
  

For the tuna salad

  • 1 can canned tuna, drained Use any type of canned tuna you prefer.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped Adds crunch.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped For added flavor.
  • To taste Salt and pepper

For the cucumbers

  • 2 cucumbers, halved lengthwise Scoop out seeds to create a boat shape.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped celery, and red onion. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended.
  • Cut the cucumbers in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the seeds to create a boat shape.
  • Spoon the tuna salad mixture generously into the hollowed-out cucumbers.

Serving

  • Serve immediately for the freshest flavor, or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.

Notes

These boats can be garnished with fresh herbs and are best served chilled. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 1-2 days.
