Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 large whole grain wrap or tortilla
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Lay the whole grain wrap flat on a plate, ensuring it’s smooth and ready for filling.
  • Place lettuce leaves and tomato slices on the wrap, arranging them toward the bottom edge so they don’t spill out.
  • Spoon the tuna mixture onto the center of the wrap, spreading it out gently to cover the area evenly.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the tuna mixture, adding as much as you like for that melty goodness.
  • Roll the wrap tightly, folding in the sides as you go to keep the filling secure, and continue to roll until closed.
  • Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap it up tightly in foil or parchment paper for meal prep to enjoy later in the week.

Notes

For a light salad on the side, consider pairing it with sweet potato fries or a bowl of vegetable soup. For added flavor, sprinkle fresh herbs or drizzle a light vinaigrette over the wrap.
