  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • ½ cup slivered almonds Feel free to substitute with walnuts or pecans.
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese Optional ingredient.

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise You can use Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Wash the broccoli florets and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, mix the broccoli, crumbled bacon, almonds, sunflower seeds, cranberries, and cheese if using.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss everything together until the broccoli is well coated.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
