Preparation

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread it into an even layer.
  • Melt the pink chocolate in the same way, then drizzle it over the semi-sweet chocolate.
  • Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the pink chocolate into the semi-sweet chocolate.
  • Sprinkle with optional toppings like sprinkles.
  • Refrigerate until hardened, then break into pieces and serve.

Notes

Store leftover chocolate bark in an airtight container. It can last up to two weeks at room temperature. For longer storage, refrigerate but bring to room temperature before serving for best texture. Make sure to chop the chocolate into small, even pieces to help it melt evenly. Don’t overheat the chocolate; stirring it while melting can prevent burning. Feel free to add nuts, dried fruits, or other toppings to customize your bark.
