Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir this dry mixture into the creamed butter mixture until just blended.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips and caramel chunks.
  • Using a large spoon, drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies. Adjust baking time according to your oven.
