  • 4 pieces Pork chops At least 1 inch thick for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing Ensure it's gluten-free if necessary.
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded You can also slice the cheese for a different texture.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with vegetable oil or canola oil.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and coat each pork chop with ranch dressing.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each chop and transfer the skillet to the oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve hot, directly from the skillet or plated with your favorite sides.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months.
