  • Gather all your ingredients on the counter, ensuring the pineapple juice is chilled.

Blending

  • In a blender, combine the pineapple juice, cream of coconut, dark rum, and ice.
  • Blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds until smooth and slushy.
  • Check the texture; it should be thick enough to hold its shape when poured.

Taste Test

  • Taste the mixture and add more cream of coconut or pineapple juice for additional sweetness if desired. Blend again to combine.

Serving

  • Pour the slushie into chilled glasses and garnish with fresh pineapple slices and a maraschino cherry.
