Brownie Mixture

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Make sure they are ripe for the best sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional) You can use dark chocolate or white chocolate for variation.
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips if you are using them.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and pour the brownie batter into it.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into them.
  • Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. These brownies are delicious on their own or can be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze for up to 3 months.
